In 2019 Plexus Water made a decision to utilise our extensive experience in All Things Water to address the challenges of providing safe & sustainable drinking water and reliable sanitation to developing nations in the Asia Pacific Region. Our objective is to improve the quality of life of local inhabitants with appropriate solutions primarily funded by World Bank, Asia Development Bank and other funding institutions.

STWS Project

The South Tarawa Water Supply Project (STWSP), co-funded by the ADB, World Bank and Kiribati PUB, will address factors which result in the high incidence of waterborne disease in South Tarawa, the capital of Kiribati, through the delivery and effective management of new and rehabilitated climate-resilient water supply assets and improved hygiene practices. PWE was appointed as a Specialist Technical Service Provider to the Government of Kiribati to advise on implementation of the technical aspects of the project.

Nauru - Desalination Plant Operational Improvement

PWE was appointed to assist the Nauru Utilities Corporation (NUC) in implementing short-term operational improvements on existing desalination plants.

Audit of every operating Reverse Osmosis Plant on Nauru

Troubleshoot and Optimise Desalination Plants including operator training

Prepare a 10 Year O&M Plan, that outlines the specific O&M activities and resource needs
