Principal Environmental Scientist - Water & Resources
 

Stuart has worked in a range of environmental roles spanning more than a decade, including Government environmental regulation / enforcement, and project approvals for water and mining infrastructure projects as well as university lecturing/tutoring and research. Stuart has focused primarily on project management, environmental impact assessment and government approvals to assist the continued development and expansion of the iron ore sector in Western Australia, with key in-house consulting roles held with Cliffs Asia Pacific Iron Ore and Mt Gibson Mining. 
Over the past seven years Stuart has achieved environmental approval and go-ahead on $8billion worth of mining projects in Australia, mostly iron-ore mines.

JASBIR RESHI
Principal Engineer - Mechanical & Process
 

Jasbir is a Chartered Professional Engineer and RPEQ with over 30 years’ experience of Water and Wastewater projects, allied to the Water, Power and Mining Industries. For the majority of his career Jasbir has worked on lump sum, EPC/ D&C projects, his involvement being from proposals through to execution and handover.

 He has direct experience with the design, estimating, execution, installation and commissioning of a broad range of water treatment and wastewater treatment technologies and pumping stations

in Australia, UK, the Pacific and southeast Asia.

PAUL BERTOLUCCI
Senior Specialist - Membrane Technology

 

Paul is a Chartered Professional Engineer and RPEQ with over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of the water industry. He has specific expertise in process and mechanical design of all forms of water/wastewater treatment & conveyancing including: Activated sludge processes (including SBR), clarification & thickening; pressure and gravity media filtration and separation; membrane filtration; membrane desalination; ion exchange; pumping stations & pipelines. Paul also has expertise in computer programming in Basic, Pascal, Fortran and C; PLC programming of Allen Bradley, Modicon, Hitachi, GE Fanuc and Siemens equipment; Design of Relay logic control and Design of PLC control systems.

Principal Engineer - Marine Infrastructure
 

David provides technical management and specialised consulting services covering aspects such as project planning and feasibility study, technical management, assurance, engineering design, procurement, construction and maintenance.
Additional specialist engineering advice is also available for breakwaters, seawalls, wharves,
dredging, ports, navigation aids, marinas, desalination plant intakes and outfalls, pipeline shore crossings, scour protection, coastal and landside infrastructure. His work has involved the technical management of marine projects and work packages through design, procurement and construction by combining skills of project management and his technical knowledge.

RYAN VOGWILL
Principal Hydrogeologist
Ryan’s more than 20 years of technical expertise encompass groundwater modelling, water resource planning and recovery of hydrologically impacted ecosystems, with a focus on applying research to sustainable groundwater management and environmental impact/risk assessment.
Ryan has been an influential Hydrogeologist in Western Australia for more than 20 years. He has undertaken project work and provided advice regarding the management of groundwater resources and environmental impacts across most business areas and across all regions of WA, but also with national and international based projects. He played a significant role in establishing and the initial application of the Perth Regional Aquifer System Model, a platform for more responsible and informed management of groundwater resources in the Perth region. He also established, coordinated and was the primary lecturer for the Hydrogeology MSc course at UWA.

HENDRIE VAN ZYL

Principal Structural Engineer & Durability

 

Hendrie has 20+ years of civil and structural engineering experience working for major Consulting, Engineering and Construction companies in the Republic of Ireland, South Africa and Australia. His skills include structural design for public utilities such as water and wastewater treatment plants; structural design and review for process and non-process infrastructure projects, structural design and detailing of concrete and steel liquid process and storage tanks and bunds both above and below ground.  Skills also include design of in-situ & precast concrete such as foundations, slabs & retaining walls, design of steel structures, general site civil works incl. bulk earthworks, surface water drainage, collection, transfer, pumping, attenuation and discharge, water distribution & pump stations, foul water collection, transfer & pumping

KIRSTEN MUIR-THOMPSON
Senior Environmental Scientist
 

Kirsten has considerable experience in the areas of environmental planning, environmental impact assessment and environmental approvals. This includes both private sector and public sector experience, gained through a variety of roles. Kirsten’s project-related experience has included residential and industrial developments, environmental management plans and environmental approval applications, with the provision of strategic direction and advice. In particular, Kirsten has project managed large scale residential and industrial developments in the Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River and Augusta localities, which have involved completion of environmental approvals, liaison with regulatory authorities and preparation of management plans.
