Rob has in excess of 30 years’ experience in the national and international water industry as Managing Director, Director, Project Director, Technical Director and General Manager. He has been directly engaged in the design and implementation of over 50 significant projects around the world valued at more than 5 billion dollars. He has extensive experience in winning and delivering desalination and wastewater projects, and has completed numerous projects throughout Australia, Middle East, South East Asia and South Africa for both public and private sector organisations.

Some of the exciting projects Rob has been involved in recently include:

• Trigg Island Potash– Investigated available treatment technologies to recover potable grade water from a source with a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) concentration of 246,000 mg/L, established a risk profile, CAPEX and OPEX.

Technologies included:

• Fresh water capture from solar ponds during brine evaporation;

• Membrane technology;

• Evaporative Technology;

• Humidification/Dehumidification;

• Eutectic Freeze Crystallisation

Rob was the Project Manager and Specialist Author

• Asian Development Bank, Kiribati Desalination Project – PWE has provided the following:

• Market Sounding Report on contracting strategy for SWRO infrastructure, pump stations & pipelines;

• Technical Specification for containerised desalination plants, for a Purpose-Built desalination facility & borefield water supply

PWE will also provide Construction Monitoring, Commissioning & Performance Acceptance Testing support services during installation of the works.
Rob was the Project Manager, Specialist Author and Reviewer.
